REGISTRATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY

  • NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.  Although some participants may not realize it, the majority of expenses for organizing a sporting event are incurred before the actual event takes place (ie. staff, marketing, shirts, medals, permits, deposits, insurance, etc).  For this reason, issuing refunds would place the event in an adverse financial position.  By registering for the event, you are agreeing to the risk that if you are unable to attend the event, or if the event is cancelled, you are not entitled to a refund unless otherwise stated.

  • All entries are Non-Refundable, Non-Transferable to another person, and Non-Deferrable to a future event unless otherwise stated.

  • Sale and/or transfer of race entries/bib numbers is strictly prohibited.

  • A participant with an injury or illness is not eligible for a refund, transfer or a deferral entry to a future event.

  • Due to the unique character of Banff National Park, a wildlife interaction could occur on the race route. In such cases, the Event Organizers reserve the right to change the race route, delay the race, stop participants on the course until the situation is deemed appropriate to continue, alter the distance of the route, cancel or other measures deemed necessary as per the Event Wildlife Interaction Response Plan. The participant understands this risk and acknowledges that no refunds will be issued in this case.

  • If the event cannot take place in 2025 due to COVID-19, or other such pandemic, the participant will have the following options:

  • Free entry in the 2025 Virtual Event OR;

  • Free entry deferral to the 2026 event

  • If the event is postponed to a future date in 2025, the participant will have the following options:

  • Free entry in the newly scheduled 2025 event date OR;

  • Free entry in the 2025 Virtual Event

  • If the participant is from outside of Canada, and does not have an option to travel to Canada as per an order in place by the Canadian federal government due to COVID-19 (ie. all citizens of the participant's country are not permitted to travel to Canada), the participant will have the following options:

  • Free entry in the 2025 Virtual Event OR;

  • Free entry deferral to the 2026 event OR;

  • A Full Refund (less registration company processing fee)
